Job summary

ADA is seeking a Planning Analyst for its E-Commerce Inventory Operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure maximum fulfillment of customer and client orders while maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating supplier replenishment and balancing supply and demand in real time.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years in FMCG planning, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on stock and promotions. Onsite position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimally 4 years of planning experience in FMCG.
Exposure to warehouse and logistics activities/systems.
Strong data crunching using Excel.

Responsibilities

Review and confirm customers' orders and forecast fulfillment dates daily.
Finalize supplier replenishment and issue purchase orders with delivery dates.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to reduce non-moving stock.
Track sales performance and flag anomalies to Commercial team.
Collaborate with Commercial Team and Suppliers for promotions/campaigns when required.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum fulfillment of customer and client orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role involves strategic planning and execution of supplier stock replenishment to balance supply and demand efficiently.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review & confirmation of customers / clients' orders fulfillment (confirm quantity & estimated fulfillment date) - Daily
Finalize supplier replenishment & submit purchase order to supplier (confirm quantity & expected delivery date) - Daily
Review inventory holding & work with internal / external stakeholders to reduce non-moving stock level - Daily / Weekly/ Monthly
Monitor assortment sales performance & highlight any anomalies observed (sudden sales spike / no sales) to Commercial team - Daily/Weekly/Monthly
Work with Commercial Team & Supplier for promotions / campaigns execution (volume & complexity is usually higher than daily orders) - As & when required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

EXPERIENCE:

Minimally 4 years of assuming planning role in FMCG environment or in position to deal with FMCG portfolio
Planning experience either in Supply Planning / Demand Planning function
Preferably with some exposure / experience / familiar with warehouse & logistics activities & system

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS:

Proficiency in excel application (beyond normal sum/subtract/divide/multiply function) minimally medium level as this role needs to deal with lot of data crunching.
