Job summary

ADA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Planning Analyst to ensure maximum fulfillment of customer orders and maintain optimal inventory levels. The role requires strategic planning and execution of supplier stock replenishment to balance supply and demand efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a planning role within the FMCG sector, strong analytical capabilities, and proficiency in Excel. The position involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Planning Analyst

Business Unit: E‑Commerce

Reporting Line: Inventory Control Manager

Job Purpose: Ensure maximum fulfillment of customer and client orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Responsible for strategic planning and execution of supplier stock replenishment to balance supply and demand efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm customers’ orders fulfillment (confirm quantity & estimated fulfillment date) – Daily.
• Finalize supplier replenishment and submit purchase orders to supplier (confirm quantity & expected delivery date) – Daily.
• Review inventory holding and work with internal or external stakeholders to reduce non‑moving stock level – Daily/Weekly/Monthly.
• Monitor assortment sales performance and highlight any anomalies (sudden sales spike / no sales) to Commercial team – Daily/Weekly/Monthly.
• Work with Commercial Team and Supplier for promotions / campaigns execution (volume & complexity usually higher than daily orders) – As required.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 4 years in a planning role within FMCG environment or a position dealing with FMCG portfolio; experience in Supply Planning or Demand Planning; preferably with exposure to warehouse & logistics activities and system.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Excel beyond basic functions at a medium level for data crunching.
