Job summary

Deleum seeks a senior Petrophysicist to identify and prioritize wells for matrix acidizing, acid fracturing, and hydraulic fracturing. The role requires integrating petrophysical, geological and production data to estimate potential gains from stimulation in mature carbonate and sandstone reservoirs.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mature oil and gas fields, strong cross-disciplinary collaboration skills, and hands-on use of industry software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of petrophysical experience.
• At least 10 years supporting production enhancement and well stimulation projects.
• Experience in both exploration and development wells.
• Experience with cased-hole and open-hole log interpretation.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with reservoir, geology, production and stimulation engineers.
• Experience with international operators or major service companies preferred.
• Hands on experience with industry software like Techlog, Interactive Petrophysics, Petrel, Geoframe.

Responsibilities

• Interpret all available well logs.
• Identify productive intervals for stimulation.
• Determine hydrocarbon saturation.
• Identify bypassed pay.
• Correlate reservoir zones with nearby wells.
• Recommend perforation and treatment intervals.
• Integrate core, log, production, and geological data.
• Work with the Reservoir Engineering Specialist to estimate incremental production.
• Support the Stimulation Specialist in treatment design.
• Evaluate post-stimulation log and production performance.
• Develop petrophysical workflows for production enhancement studies.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Follow professional work ethics and HSE regulations.
