Job summary

Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) in Penang seeks an experienced PCB layout lead to drive high- complexity automotive electronics projects. You will collaborate with design teams, create and maintain manufacturing documentation, and oversee a team of PCB layouters to ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and 10–15 years in PCB layout, with strong tool proficiency (Zuken, Cadence) and scripting abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of PCB layout tools Zuken and Cadence.
• Proficient in technical report writing and presenting findings.
• Experience with high-speed PCB design and stack-up considerations.
• Ability to script in Perl for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB layout design for high-complexity electronics and car infotainment.
• Collaborate with HQ teams to create component libraries and footprints.
• Create and maintain PCB layout documentation for manufacturing.
• Generate Gerber files for PCB fabrication.
• Estimate development effort, hours, and prototype costs.
• Provide training on PCB layout and mentor a team of layouters.
• Plan resources and oversee compliance with automotive standards.
