The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in payroll, strong knowledge of Malaysian regulations, and proficiency in payroll software and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in HR/recruitment
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, income tax)
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel; accounting software is advantageous
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional certification in payroll or HR management preferred (e.g., MIA or equivalent)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for all agency employees and contract workers
• Manage payroll systems and databases including data entry, verification, and reconciliation
• Prepare payroll reports for management and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with external accountants, tax authorities, and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and employment standards
• Coordinate year-end tax documentation including EA forms and regulatory filings
• Support HR with payroll data for recruitment and onboarding
