Job summary

Forvis Mazars Malaysia is seeking a payroll team lead in the Outsourcing department to guide a growing payroll function, onboard new clients and review reports prepared by Associates.

You will process statutory and salary payments via online banking, act as a key client contact to enhance experience, meet strict deadlines with high attention to detail, and stay up to date with legislation while training Associates and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Vibrant personality and ability to manage and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting software (XERO) is an added advantage.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Pro-active and hard-working.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt, identify and provide solutions for internal processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team in the Outsourcing department.
• Onboarding new clients.
• Review reports prepared by Associates.
• Process statutory and salary payments via online banking.
• Act as a key point of contact in client relationships to enhance client experience.
• Train Associates and provide guidance and assistance where required.
• Assist with the preparation of payroll proposals.
• Assist management in identifying issues and implementing potential improvements within the payroll function.
