Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Malaysia is seeking a payroll team lead within the Outsourcing department. You will oversee daily payroll operations, onboard new clients and review reports prepared by Associates while ensuring timely, accurate statutory and salary payments.

The role requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and familiarity with XERO accounting software. You will train associates, support payroll proposals, and help management drive

• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team in the Outsourcing department
• Onboarding new clients
• Review reports prepared by Associates
• Process statutory and salary payments via online banking
• Act as a key point of contact in client relationships to enhance client experience
• Meet strict deadlines with a high attention to detail
• Keep up to date on relevant legislations
• Train Associates and provide guidance and assistance where required
• Assist with the preparation of payroll proposals
• Assist management in identifying issues and implementing potential improvements within the payroll function
