Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Payments domain. You will drive strategy across payments scaling, merchant onboarding, settlement, and AI-powered operations, working with risk, legal, sales, and engineering to ship features in a regulated fintech environment.

You will own the roadmap, define go-to-market plans, and measure impact on revenue, activation, and transaction volumes, while ensuring compliance and customer value across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management in payments/fintech or similar regulated financial products.
• Track record of shipping products from ideation to launch and GTM.
• Credible hands-on domain knowledge in card acquiring/issuing, merchant lifecycle, or cross-border payments.

Responsibilities

• Roadmap execution: own and deliver the roadmap across your domain, tracking revenue, take rate, activation, payment success, and cost per transaction.
• Discovery: merchant interviews, usability testing, and transaction-level analysis to locate revenue and friction across the payment journey.
• Product design & delivery: prototype and test new product concepts; build detailed specs with engineering to ship features on schedule and to quality standards.
• Risk & compliance: design KYB, AML, sanctions screening, transaction limits, and PS Act obligations with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Treasury.
• AI-augmented execution: use AI tools to speed up research synthesis, spec writing, prototyping, and other product workflow parts.
• Cross-functional leadership: keep cross-functional teams informed and aligned; lead projects across engineering, design, operations, risk, sales, and finance.
• Go-to-market: own pricing, positioning, sales enablement, support readiness, merchant migration, and adoption tracking for every launch.
