Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Client Consulting Manager to lead workstreams within consulting engagements or transformation programs for issuing, acquiring, merchant, and fintech clients in Malaysia. You will gather inputs, analyze data, develop recommendations, and present reports while working with client teams to execute recommendations.

The role covers payment strategy, portfolio and product-market fit assessment, customer value proposition design, talent enablement, digital payments wallet

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, banking / financial services or business management.
• Excellent knowledge of the payments industry landscape and developments, consumer trends and regulatory changes in Malaysia.
• Excellent client relationship management skills with experience being part of strong sales teams and/or dealing with senior client stakeholders.
• Robust experience in execution / implementation, driving initiatives to deliver concrete business impact / value.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of VCA consulting offerings and engagement delivery in Malaysia.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with client teams through impactful engagements.
• Partner with peers in product, marketing, risk, and innovation to execute projects.
• Prepare client proposals and project plans with dependencies, roles, and deliverables.
• Deliver project engagements by preparing materials like interview guides and data requirements.
• Conduct industry research to identify best practices and insights relevant to client problems.
• Create compelling presentations to illustrate findings, ideas and recommendations.
• Support Thought Leadership projects on the future of payments.
