Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for Packaging/Semiconductor in Penang. You will drive sales strategies, build key accounts, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and supply chain to deliver tailored packaging and supply chain solutions.

You will lead customer engagements, prepare proposals, and optimize commercial outcomes while tracking market trends and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging Technology.
• 4–6 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience managing key accounts and project-based sales is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple sectors including manufacturing, logistics, and electronics.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and discussions to propose packaging or supply chain solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations; follow up on sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers for long-term growth.
• Collaborate with customers to identify cost optimization and operational improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions meeting timelines.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports for management.
