Gradiant Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is seeking a responsible Senior Plant Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain our water and wastewater treatment plant in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

The role focuses on ensuring smooth plant operations, environmental compliance, and safety standards. You will record daily data, perform chemical top-ups and backwash, and support maintenance activities while working rotating shifts, including nights and holidays.

Qualificações

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations.
• Able to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Own transport and smartphone.
• Able to read and write in Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
• Training provided.
• EPF, SOCSO & EIS contributions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment systems according to SOP.
• Record daily operational data, chemical usage, and plant parameters.
• Perform chemical top-up, filter backwash, desludging, and general plant upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with DOE standards for final discharge and site safety procedures.
• Report any abnormalities, breakdowns, or modifications to the supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping and compliance with GMP requirements.
• Support maintenance activities and instrument calibrations.
• Work closely with team members during shift handovers.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and follow all HR policies and attendance requirements.

About the Role
