Job summary

R & A Logistic Solutions Sdn Bhd – Kapar, Selangor is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee daily business activities and drive cross-department coordination. You will monitor performance, guide management in planning, and develop strategies to improve productivity and profitability.

You will supervise department heads, manage manpower, and ensure budgets are controlled while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in operations, business management, or a managerial position.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good business and operational understanding.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Able to manage multiple departments, priorities, and projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Able to prepare and analyse operational and Management reports.
• Responsible, hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Experience in the commercial vehicle, automotive, logistics, or related industry will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the Company’s daily business and operational activities.
• Ensure smooth workflow and effective coordination across departments.
• Monitor operational performance, identify issues, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Assist Management in business planning, expansion, new projects, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Supervise department heads and employees to ensure operational objectives and KPIs are achieved.
• Manage manpower planning, staff allocation, and workforce utilization.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to improve employee performance.
• Monitor departmental budgets, operational expenses, and overall business performance.
• Review operational and financial reports and recommend cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, business partners, and stakeholders.
• Handle operational escalations and support the resolution of customer and supplier matters.
• Monitor projects to ensure completion within the required timeline and budget.
• Prepare operational, financial, performance, and Management reports.
• Conduct regular meetings with department heads to review performance and improvement plans.
• Perform any other managerial or operational duties assigned by the MD or Management.
