Job summary

GREENVIRO SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking an Operations professional to support the daily transfer station activities in Malaysia. You will coordinate landfill operations, monitor environmental controls, and liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth site performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Waste Management or equivalent and has at least 3 years' experience in project management or operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Waste Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' experience in project management or project operations with or without exposure in waste management industry.
• Meticulous and systematic in organizing own work processes.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in multilingual i.e. English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and deal with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth execution of operational activities. Conduct site inspections, audits, and supervision to identify operational, safety, environmental, and quality issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring operational, and maintenance activities.
• Verify and process purchase requisitions, delivery orders, invoices, work orders, and related documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Compile and submit operational, and environmental reports.
• Support environmental monitoring and compliance activities, including leachate, biogas, stormwater, and groundwater management.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) requirements and participate in incident investigations, emergency response, and business continuity activities.
