Job summary

Alam Flora Sdn Bhd seeks a dedicated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cleansing and waste management at Johor Port. You will manage manpower, ensure service delivery aligns with client requirements, and coordinate fleet readiness in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team of drivers and general workers, conduct daily briefings, enforce safety standards, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients and vendors while ensuring compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Operations, Logistics, Facilities Management, Environmental Services, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operations supervision, site operations, waste management, facilities services, logistics, or related industries.
• Experience managing frontline workers and operational manpower.
• Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of safety, health, and operational compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel within operational areas.
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleansing and waste management operations throughout Johor Port
• Ensure all operational activities are carried out according to company standards, client requirements, and established SOPs
• Plan and organize daily work schedules for drivers and general workers
• Monitor workforce deployment and attendance to ensure optimum service delivery
• Lead and supervise a team of drivers and general workers
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational instructions effectively
• Monitor employee discipline, attendance, productivity, and performance
• Monitor the condition and availability of operational vehicles and equipment
• Coordinate with vendors regarding equipment breakdowns and repairs
• Ensure all employees comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulations
