REGEN SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a QHSE Executive to oversee Quality, Occupational Safety & Health, and Environmental compliance within our waste-to-resource operations in Malaysia. You will manage regulatory submissions, ISO systems and risk controls.

The role requires a degree in relevant field and at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing or heavy industry, with knowledge of DOE eSWIS and DOSH regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, cement, chemical, waste management or heavy-industry operations.
• Working knowledge of Malaysian environmental and OSH legislation and DOE eSWIS.
• DOE Competent Person certification such as CePSWaM/CePSO.
• DOSH-registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book/Yellow Book) is preferred.
• ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

• Monitor QHSE performance, manage non-conformities, root-cause analysis and CAPA.
• Prepare QHSE reports for management and drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
• Liaise with DOE, DOSH, Bomba and other stakeholders on QHSE matters.

Job description

We are looking for a QHSE Executive to oversee and drive Quality, Occupational Safety & Health, and Environmental (QHSE) compliance within our waste-to-resource operations. The role will be responsible for regulatory compliance, QHSE management systems, risk management, audits, training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Manage environmental and regulatory compliance, including permits, licences, statutory submissions and environmental monitoring.

Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian environmental and occupational safety & health legislation and regulatory requirements.

Conduct HIRARC, workplace inspections, incident/accident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.

Manage contractor safety, permit-to-work, chemical safety and emergency response arrangements.

Maintain and continuously improve ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Coordinate internal and external audits, certification activities and customer assessments.

Monitor QHSE performance, manage non-conformities, root-cause analysis and CAPA.

Conduct QHSE training, induction and awareness programmes.

Prepare QHSE reports for management and drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Liaise with DOE, DOSH, Bomba, auditors and other relevant stakeholders on QHSE matters.

About you

Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Chemistry, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial, cement, chemical, waste management or heavy-industry operations.

Working knowledge of Malaysian environmental and OSH legislation and DOE eSWIS.

DOE Competent Person certification such as CePSWaM/CePSO.

DOSH-registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book/Yellow Book) is preferred.

ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, risk assessment and auditing skills.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen is an advantage.

Willing to travel and work in a dynamic operational environment.
