SCHOTT Glass (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Lean Excellence Engineer to lead Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. You will translate business priorities into measurable improvements in cost, productivity, quality, and performance across the organization.

With 5–8 years in manufacturing or OE, you will drive cross-functional projects, develop productivity dashboards, and validate benefits with stakeholders while advancing continuous improvement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in manufacturing or OE fields.
• Proven cross-functional project leadership.
• Experience in productivity improvement and cost-saving programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean and CI principles.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional improvement projects.
• Identify labor productivity and cycle time reduction opportunities.
• Develop a portfolio of cost-saving projects.
• Monitor progress, risks and gap closure.
• Establish savings calculation methodologies.
• Validate project benefits with stakeholders.
• Develop productivity dashboards and reports.
• Analyze data to find performance gaps.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and OE initiatives across operations.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using Lean, Kaizen, and problem solving.
