Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant, Network Cybersecurity to design and implement resilient security architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will guide Zero Trust, SASE, and micro-segmentation strategies while collaborating with client teams.

The role emphasizes customer-facing delivery, security operations, and governance, with mentoring responsibilities and pre-sales support to optimize secure networking outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in network security/consulting with enterprise-scale design and delivery.
• Proven success delivering multi-site, hybrid/cloud security programs and complex cutovers.
• Experience collaborating across Network, Cloud, SOC, Infra, and App teams; able to lead workshops and steering committees.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure network designs for campus, branch, data center, OT/ICS and cloud edge.
• Define Zero Trust, SASE, ZTNA, and micro-segmentation patterns; produce high/low level designs and traffic diagrams.
• Deploy and tune NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF, SSE, DLP, and NAC; integrate SIEM/SOAR; lead phased migrations with rollback plans.
• Align designs with standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and produce audit artifacts.
• Act as trusted advisor to CISO, Network, Cloud, Infra, and App teams; conduct assessments and prepare proposals.
• Mentor consultants, review designs, and contribute reference architectures; support pre-sales.
