The ideal candidate is a Registered Pharmacist with Poison License A, holds a FRP degree, and has strong organizational, communication, and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with registration and Poison License A, ready for production setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies required.
• Familiarity with GMP and quality documentation is preferred.
• Experience in production planning or manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with GMP and Poison Act 1952.
• Minimize production interruptions due to documentation.
• Manage psychotropic and controlled item handling in the plant.
• Support Manager and Executive with production dept documentation.
• Coordinate Training Coordination in Production Department.
• Ensure timely training of production personnel.
• Update production organization charts and job descriptions as needed.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to GMP compliance and Trackwise COA actions.

Ranbaxy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a SUN PHARMA company, is seeking a Senior Officer – Production (Pharmacist) to join our manufacturing operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our production and scheduling functions within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. As a Senior Officer – Production (Pharmacist) in Production, you will contribute to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the timely delivery of pharmaceutical products to our customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and production planning within a global healthcare organization.

Key responsibilities

Ensure all operations of production comply with GMP Guidelines & Poison Act 1952

Ensure production activity is not interrupted due to documentation matters

Manage psychotropic and controlled item management in plant

Assist Manager and Executive in all documentation activity related to production department

Assist Department Training Coordinator (DTC) of Production Department

Ensure training is conducted to production personnel within required timeline

Prepare and update Production Organization Chart when required

Prepare and update job description (JD) of production personnel when required

Ensure all documentation adheres to GMP compliance

Handle CAPA, Change Control, Deviation, PQC Investigation and OOS investigation related to production in Trackwise system

About you

Registered Pharmacist and Poison License A Holder

Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical studies (FRP)

Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing or production planning processes

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management systems

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow instructions

Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial
