Ranbaxy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a SUN PHARMA company, seeks an Officer - Production to join our manufacturing operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This full-time role supports production scheduling, ensures GMP-compliant operations, and helps deliver quality medicines on time.

The ideal candidate has a science or manufacturing degree, good English and Bahasa Malaysia, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience in pharma manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Science/Manufacturing/Pharmaceuticals).
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing or production planning processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager and supervise production team to achieve the production plan with high productivity and GMP compliance.
• Carry out production operations per plan and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain GMP compliance in coating area and SOP updates/reviews.
• Ensure staff training completion and provide necessary support to subordinates.

Ranbaxy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a SUN PHARMA company, is seeking an Officer - Production to join our manufacturing operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our production and scheduling functions within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. As an Officer in Production, you will contribute to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the timely delivery of pharmaceutical products to our customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and production planning within a global healthcare organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Manager, Executive and supervise production team to achieve target in production plan with high productivity and adhere to GMP
• Carry out production operation as per production plan and delivery on time
• Ensure all operation of production adhere to GMP compliance at coating area
• Maintain an optimum level of manpower and over time
• Monitor the work of subordinates and ensure the necessary assistance is provided to them for their timely, adequate and accurate completion of the assigned work
• Monitor activity and productivity in coating area
• Responsible for Coating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) update and review
• Ensure SOP execution is comply as per requirements
• Ensure subordinates complete required trainings
• Participate in any investigation conducted related to coating area

About you

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Science related, Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical studies
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing or production planning processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and follow instructions
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial
