Job summary

Actiforce Mechatronics Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Manufacturing & NPI Engineer to lead packaging design and drive New Product Introduction projects end-to-end. You will collaborate with R&D, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to transition products from development to high-volume production, while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Strong communication and PLC understanding are essential.

Qualifications

Packaging design, development, and qualification.
NPI and product release processes.
Understanding of PLC (Product Life Cycle).
Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials).
Mechanical design principles and mass production processes.
Manufacturing engineering principles and techniques.
Collaboration with R&D, Quality Engineering, CM, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to present solutions and work independently.
Strong documentation and technical reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Lead packaging design activities and manage qualification efforts.
Drive NPI projects across the full PLC for new products.
Provide manufacturing and assembly engineering support for mass production.
Ensure smooth transition of products from development to high-volume production.
Collaborate with R&D, CM, QA and suppliers on design reviews and documentation.
Develop build readiness plans and manage risk for product launches.
