Job summary

Cheil Malaysia is seeking an ambitious Business Development professional to drive agency growth by sourcing new leads, conducting outreach, and securing introductory meetings with prospective clients.

You will assist in pitch execution, respond to RFPs, and deliver proposals to win new business, collaborating with Creative, Strategy and Account Management teams.

This role includes commission-based incentives and requires more than 5 years in advertising or integrated marketing sales.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of business development, sales, or account management in advertising or digital/integrated marketing.
• Proven track record of converting pitches and meeting revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of modern agency offerings, including ATL/BTL, digital, retail branding and content creation.
• Excellent public speaking and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen for profit margins, retainer models, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map and pursue high-value new business opportunities across sectors, building a robust pipeline.
• Lead RFI/RFP responses and pitch presentations end-to-end with cross-functional teams.
• Translate agency capabilities into compelling client solutions and ensure profitable MSAs, retainers, and projects.
