Job summary

CEGAL MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is hiring an experienced network engineer to design, implement and operate complex enterprise networks in Malaysia. You will support LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments while ensuring secure and reliable services.

The role requires hands-on experience with Check Point firewalls, Cisco routing and switching, and Cisco ISE, plus familiarity with OSPF/BGP, MPLS and VPN solutions. Fluency in English and Malay is essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in network design, implementation and operations.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Fluent in written and spoken Malay.

Responsibilities

Design, configuration, and implementation of network solutions.
Operational support of network components including configuration, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Operation and support of network security components within LAN/WLAN environments (Cisco WLC, certificates, identity solutions such as Cisco ISE).
Troubleshooting and support of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments.
3rd line customer support and incident resolution.
Implementation and support of IEEE 802.1X client authentication (wired and wireless).
Collaboration with internal teams and external providers to ensure stable and secure network services.
Monitoring and proactive handling of alerts received from the installed technical environments.
