Job summary

Tech Junction Ltd. seeks a Senior Network Engineer for its Cyberjaya, Malaysia office. In this hands-on role you will design, deploy, and secure complex enterprise routing, switching, firewall, and cloud networking.

Expect to lead automation efforts with Python and Ansible while collaborating with security, cloud, and Agile teams. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience, CCNP-level credentials, and deep knowledge of BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, and SDN tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5–7 years of professional network engineering experience.
• CCNP-level or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, QinQ and Dot1Q.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Check Point, F5/Citrix, WAF, IPS and proxy systems.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Local Malaysian residency preferred for onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise routing, switching, and firewall infrastructures.
• Implement and optimize routing protocols and secure tunnels (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, DMVPN, GETVPN).
• Manage Layer 2/3 switching architectures (VLAN, STP, QinQ, Dot1Q).
• Deploy and manage Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, WAF, IPS, and proxies.
• Administer F5 and Citrix ADCs and enterprise load balancing.
• Integrate cloud networking across hybrid environments.
• Develop Python scripts and Ansible playbooks for automation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team syncs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot RCA, and document topology.
