Job summary

Bright Prospect in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise and data center networks, ensuring high availability and security.

You will manage routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and firewalls; monitor performance; perform RCA; and support migrations and upgrades. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are required, with CCNP/ACP/ITIL as plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Networking or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in enterprise or data center networks.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and support enterprise and data center networks for high availability and security.
• Implement, configure, and maintain routing, switching, wireless, and network security.
• Monitor performance and perform preventive maintenance for reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and implement corrective actions.
• Support network migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh projects.
• Maintain network security with firewalls, VPNs, and IPAM awareness.
• Prepare network diagrams and SOPs; ensure change control.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on projects.
