Job summary

WisunoFX in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a network security specialist to design, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN and wireless networks. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust security controls across the infrastructure.

The role requires a Master’s degree and strong Linux, DB, and security tool knowledge, with preferred experience in HA, containers, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong CS foundation; Linux proficiency and basic DB knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of security tech and detection principles; log analysis skills.
• Experience with security products (firewalls, honeypots, WAF, DDoS protection).
• Nice to have HA, containers, big data, monitoring, and cloud experience.
• Strong problem solving and fault-detection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN and wireless networks to support operations.
• Monitor network performance, ensure availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with timely support.
• Perform network maintenance, firmware upgrades, and updates.
• Implement security measures: firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network with other infra.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Evaluate new network technologies and recommend improvements.
• Provide support for VoIP, cloud networking, and remote access.
