Job summary

Axonect in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to design, implement, administer and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center networks across on‑premises and cloud environments.

You will lead routing and switching, firewall and VPN configurations, AWS networking, and ensure security, availability, and performance while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, network engineering or a related discipline.
4+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, administration and operational support.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, VLANs, VRFs, MPLS, SD-WAN, QoS and network security.
Experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, HPE, Huawei or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center infrastructure.
Manage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, MPLS and network segmentation.
Administer firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, security policies, and secure remote connectivity.
Configure and maintain network services including DNS, DHCP, NTP and IPAM.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams on hardening, audits and compliance.
