Job summary

NTT DATA in Cyberjaya is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize complex LAN/WAN topologies across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will configure Aruba switching, Fortinet and MikroTik firewalls, SSL VPN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, load balancers and cloud networking while ensuring security posture and service availability.

You will monitor performance with Cisco DNA and ThousandEyes, participate in change management, and maintain runbooks and topology diagrams to support

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience as a Network Engineer or equivalent
• LAN and WAN switching, VLAN management, trunking, Spanning Tree and L3 routing
• Aruba switching configuration, VLAN provisioning and policy management
• Fortinet FortiGate and MikroTik firewall policy creation, NAT and security profiles
• SSL VPN/client VPN gateway configuration, profile management and monitoring
• DNS, DHCP and IPAM zone management and lifecycle
• Load balancing rule configuration, health checks and listener lifecycle
• Cloud networking with security groups, NSG, cloud firewall and routing
• Anti-DDoS appliance management and cloud DDoS mitigation
• Network monitoring with Cisco DNA Centre and ThousandEyes
• QoS configuration and trend analysis
• Security posture monitoring and CVE patching
• Infrastructure as code for network configuration (Terraform, Ansible)
• Regular performance and policy optimisation

Responsibilities

• Design and manage LAN and WAN topology with Aruba switching
• Manage firewall policies for Fortinet FortiGate and MikroTik
• Configure and maintain SSL VPN and client VPN services
• Manage DNS zones, DHCP scopes and IP address management
• Configure load balancer rules, health checks and listeners
• Manage cloud networking across providers and cloud VA firewalls
• Operate and maintain anti-DDoS appliances and cloud mitigation
• Monitor network performance with Cisco DNA Centre and ThousandEyes
• Conduct QoS monitoring and performance trend analysis
• Maintain network security posture and respond to anomalies
• Participate in change advisory processes and maintain audit records
• Maintain network documentation and runbooks
• Provide Level 2/3 network incident support and vendor coordination
