Job summary

Digital Bright Technologies in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, is seeking a seasoned network professional to design and implement complex network and security solutions across multi-tenant cloud environments. The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, documentation, and after-hours support for new deployments while aligning with leadership on strategic deployment plans.

Qualifications

5–7 years' experience managing, provisioning, and implementing network security tech in a large global environment.
Expert-level hands-on configuration of networking equipment, management tools and network analyzers.
Ability to write detailed procedures and maintain documentation (Visio/LucidCharts).
Expert knowledge of Layer 3 technologies: IPv4, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, HSRP, DMVPN, NHRP, GETVPN.
Expert knowledge of Layer 2 technologies: Spanning-Tree, VLANs, QinQ, Dot1q.
Experience with load-balancing technologies and platforms such as Citrix, F5.
Operational experience with Checkpoint & Fortinet firewalls.
Operational experience with Proxy, WAF & IPS technologies.
Good knowledge of Cloud Networking technologies.
Extensive experience working remotely in a self-managed environment.
Experience with Agile Scrum framework.
Network Automation experience with Python and/or Ansible.

Responsibilities

Provide network design and implementation strategies, migration plans, and technical project support for varying project complexities.
Test and evaluate network systems to identify problems and drive improvements.
Prepare business cases, financial analyses, deployment plans, and BOMs for leadership review.
Perform hands-on configurations for new deployments.
Prepare build documents and Operational Support procedures; transfer knowledge to Network Operations.
Design, implement and manage network and security within a secure multi-tenant cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Assist with standard designs from Network Engineering for infrastructure projects; configure, troubleshoot, document, and optimize.
Provide after-hours support for new deployments not yet transitioned to Network Operations.
Offer technical guidance for broader solution delivery initiatives.
Support Tier 3 escalated operational issues after hours.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Maintain deep technical knowledge of network and cloud technologies and integrations.
Convey technical information via whiteboards, workshops, or written communications.
Engage in executive/technical communications and build relationships with internal/external customers.
Consult, assess, audit, design, and interview stakeholders to resolve technical requirements.
Research and stay ahead of tools and technologies; adapt to changing requirements.
Demonstrate consultative mindset with strong listening and collaboration for unmet needs.
Operate in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to market changes.
Problem-solving using internal/external resources.
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
