Job summary

ASE Global is seeking a senior Network Engineer to lead design, implementation, and operation of the site’s network infrastructure in Malaysia. You will collaborate with Corporate Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure secure, scalable connectivity and reliable operations for manufacturing environments.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, change management, vendor coordination, and ongoing improvements to network services. A background in OT-adjacent environments is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Network Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in industrial/manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and support network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage network technologies including routing, switching, wireless networking, telecommunications, and segmentation.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability and identify optimization opportunities.
• Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Plan and coordinate network changes and projects with stakeholders and vendors.
