Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive Procurement professional to support the Procurement Manager in day-to-day activities, ensuring timely PR-to-PO processing and guiding junior staff. You will manage RFQ/RFP processes and drive supplier evaluations, negotiations, and cost savings across MRO and facility services.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), and ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in MRO, spare parts, equipment, facility services, or technical engineering services.
• 1-2 years in a senior, team lead, or supervisory role preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings, machine parts, BQ, and technical specifications.
• Experience in RFQ, RFP, tendering, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager in managing daily procurement activities and timely PR-to-PO processing.
• Guide junior team members on sourcing, negotiation, supplier issues, and procurement procedures.
• Act as the first escalation point for operational and vendor-related issues.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with procurement SOPs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports including cost savings and supplier performance.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing for MRO items, spare parts, and facility services.
• Work with internal departments to prepare BQ, scope of work, specifications, and tender documents.
• Manage RFQ, RFP, tender exercises, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
