Job summary

Collabera in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance iOS and Android apps, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable mobile banking experiences.

You will implement best coding practices, integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL, participate in code reviews, and drive CI/CD pipelines while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in hybrid or native mobile development (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong hands-on expertise in React Native.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend integration.
• Proficiency with state management frameworks (Redux, Zustand).
• In-depth knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with mobile test automation tools like Detox.
• Solid understanding of mobile security principles (encryption, secure storage, OWASP Mobile Top 10).
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Firebase, or Azure for mobile services.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with collaborative workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
