Job summary

ITSMART Sdn Bhd is hiring a Mobile App Developer to build, maintain and enhance cross-platform apps for Android and iOS. You will work with Flutter/React Native, and optionally Kotlin/Swift, to deliver robust mobile solutions.

You will integrate REST APIs, manage releases, and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring performance, security and stability across releases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–4 years of mobile app development experience.
• Strong hands-on Flutter or React Native; Kotlin/Swift a plus.
• Knowledge of MVVM/MVI architecture and state management.
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, databases and offline storage.
• Familiar with Firebase, Supabase, AWS Amplify or similar backend services.
• Git, automated testing, CI/CD and app deployment knowledge.
• Experience with Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. The candidate will be responsible for the full application development lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and post-release support.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift.

Build clean, scalable, and maintainable applications using appropriate architecture and coding practices.

Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, databases, and third-party services.

Develop features such as authentication, push notifications, offline storage, and data synchronization.

Troubleshoot bugs, crashes, performance issues, and application-related problems.

Conduct application testing and ensure application quality, security, and stability.

Manage application releases and updates through Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.

Handle app versioning, signing, certificates, store submission, testing tracks, and staged releases.

Monitor application performance and crash reports after deployment.

Support and improve CI/CD and automated deployment processes.

About you

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–4 years of relevant experience in mobile application development.

Strong hands-on experience in Flutter or React Native. Experience in native Android/iOS development using Kotlin or Swift is an advantage.

Good understanding of mobile application architecture such as MVVM/MVI and state management.

Experience with REST API integration, WebSockets, databases, and offline/local storage.

Familiar with Firebase, Supabase, AWS Amplify, or similar backend/cloud services.

Knowledge of Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and application deployment.

Experience with Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect is preferred.

Understanding of app signing, certificates, app store submission, testing tracks, and staged releases.

Basic knowledge of mobile application security, data protection, and performance optimization.
