Job summary

Leighton Asia seeks a high-calibre Senior Estimator (MEP) to join our Malaysia team, based at our Kuala Lumpur head office. You will prepare MEP cost estimates, tender pricing, and budgets for major projects, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to submit competitive bids.

With a degree in a related discipline and at least 10 years of estimating experience in construction, you will analyze costs, benchmark data, manage subcontractors, and identify pricing risks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant estimating experience in construction projects.
• Experience in design-and-build projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP estimating, tendering, cost analysis, and subcontractor management.
• Experience in Data Centre or Semiconductor projects will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop MEP cost estimates, budgets, and tender pricing for projects.
• Prepare tender packages and coordinate enquiries with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend the most competitive and compliant proposals.
• Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and identify pricing risks and opportunities during the tender stage.
• Maintain accurate pricing data and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to support successful bid submissions.
