Job summary

SiTime is seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer in Ipoh, Malaysia, to lead the development of test solutions for precision timing devices. You will define ATE test hardware and software, oversee design for test features, and enable high-volume production for new products.

You will collaborate with product engineering, design engineering, and manufacturing, mentoring junior engineers while advancing test methodologies, qualification plans, and platform correlations across multiple test

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least eight years of related work experience.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne ETS-364, ETS-88, or UltraFLEX preferred.
• Knowledge of analog electronics and board-level debugging.
• Experience in statistical analysis of test data.
• Excellent programming skills with C++.

Responsibilities

• Define the ATE test flow and test plan for new products.
• Develop, validate, and release production test software for standard mixed-signal ATE platforms.
• Design and validate DUT boards, interface hardware, load boards, and test fixtures.
• Support hardware bring-up, system integration, and debugging activities.
• Perform tester-to-tester and site-to-site correlation studies.
• Lead release-to-production activities and improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
