Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Field Technician (Mechatronics/Mechanical) to lead installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated agriculture machinery on project sites. You will supervise hands-on work, coordinate with engineers and customers, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates have a diploma in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years’ relevant experience, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in machinery installation, mechanical assembly or automation.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and align automated agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical and automation systems on site.
• Supervise and coordinate installation activities with project teams and customers.
• Perform testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized and professional work environment.
