• Design high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.
• Prepare accurate proposals using design and cost estimation.
• Provide technical advice in accordance with engineering standards.
• Attend meetings to clarify technical specifications.
• Support engineering operations as required.
• Coordinate site inspections, approvals, and compliance.
• Prepare project forecast budgets and documentation.
• Resolve discrepancies in drawings and specifications.
• Monitor construction projects for compliance and quality.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly.
• Plan and monitor project progress for timely completion.

Job description

Key responsibilities include:

• Design high, medium, and low voltage electrical distribution and generation systems, including single line diagrams, electrical load lists, cable sizing, lighting and small power layouts, motor starter circuits, lightning and earthing systems, etc.
• Apply good knowledge in design, cost estimation, and tendering processes to prepare accurate proposals and ensure project competitiveness.
• Provide technical advice and design solutions in accordance with relevant engineering authority standards and client/tender project requirements.
• Attend meetings and discussions with subcontractors and clients to explain and clarify technical specifications.
• Support branch and project engineering operations as required.
• Liaise and coordinate with authorities and consultants for site inspections, approvals, and compliance matters.
• Prepare project forecast budgets, margin calculations, and documentation in line with company and project standards.
• Study, highlight, and resolve any discrepancies in drawings, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and specifications.
• Monitor construction projects to ensure procedures, materials, and equipment comply with approved project plans, specifications, owner standards, and quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve any site issues promptly and effectively.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
