CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and related areas. The role supports preventive maintenance and strives for optimal performance and safety across facilities.

The candidate will manage energy use, participate in preventive programs, and ensure compliance with codes and safety directives while collaborating with teams and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4-5 years of related facilities management experience.
• Ability to perform judgment based on analysis from multiple sources.
• Willingness to adopt new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills for percentage, fractions, and finance-related calculations.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems; keep facilities up to standard.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency directives, and safety policies.
• Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems run efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to meet design life expectations.
• Ensure safe storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems like fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across several disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to build consensus.
• Impact a range of activities within own team and related teams.
• Operate within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
