Job summary

Private Advertiser in Ulu Tiram, Johor, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This full-time role focuses on design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems that support our operations.

You will work with CAD tools, perform analyses, prepare drawings, and collaborate with manufacturing and QA to ensure reliability and cost-efficiency. PE registration is advantageous; bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering principles required.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and structural analysis.
• Experience with FEA and manufacturing processes is advantageous.
• Professional communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD and engineering principles.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects.
• Perform calculations and simulations to analyse stress, thermal properties, and other characteristics.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and docs for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and procurement for project success.
• Support manufacturing by troubleshooting and recommending improvements.
• Maintain compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Assist in evaluating equipment, materials, and suppliers.
