Job summary

Xiamen University Malaysia – Sepang, Selangor is seeking an experienced Inspection of Works (Mechanical & Electrical) to supervise and coordinate construction activities on site. You will ensure works align with drawings and specifications and maintain accurate site records.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, registration as Inspector Of Works, and a minimum of 8 years in construction supervision of M&E works.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as Inspector Of Works with the Board Of Engineers.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction supervision of mechanical and electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise the works in accordance to drawings and specifications, as assigned by the Resident Engineer.
• Ensure the required standard of quality and accuracy of works.
• Test and examine materials used in accordance to specifications and contract provisions.
• Prepare and maintain site records and reports.
• Verify works and sign Form G, in accordance to the approved drawings by the authorities.
• Assist the Resident Engineer on any other duties of the job as required in site management.
• Carry out other site administration works as instructed by client and consultants.
