Job summary

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, validate designs for functionality and reliability, and drive design improvements while addressing customer needs and manufacturing feedback.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical design, development and testing experience.
• Proficiency in FEM tools for stress and reliability analysis.
• Creo CAD proficiency or equivalent.
• Experience with suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Familiarity with mechanical validation and reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical devices, systems, and thermal solutions.
• Lead concepts, specs, feasibility studies and test plans for new and existing designs.
• Conduct functionality validation, reliability testing, and safety assessments.
• Develop customer guidance for use of mechanical designs and address concerns.
• Perform structural and stress analysis and tolerance analysis for key components.
• Collaborate with suppliers to incorporate feedback and oversee deployments.
