Job summary

Celestica in Senai, Johor is seeking a Senior Executive (Material Planner) to drive end-to-end material readiness and risk mitigation. The role uses Kinaxis and SAP to optimize inventory and coordinate between Engineering, Procurement, and Global Customers to sustain production and revenue targets.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in material planning or inventory control, with strong analytical skills and experience in JIT, MRP, and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or related field.
• 3–8 years’ experience in material planning or inventory control.
• Experience with NPI and high-mix/low-volume manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead material readiness and CTB ownership using Kinaxis to ensure a 13-week demand visibility.
• Model scenarios to assess impact of urgent orders on schedules and revenue.
• Monitor PR-to-PO pipeline and resolve bottlenecks for lead-time sensitivity.
• Oversee ECs and calculate depletion dates to minimize E&O risk.
• Manage inventory programs, including SMI, VMI and JIT frameworks.
