Job summary

Celestica in Senai, Johor Bahru is seeking a Senior Executive (Material Planner) to lead end-to-end material readiness, utilizing Kinaxis and SAP to optimize inventory and mitigate supply chain risks. You will coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Global Customers to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities include CTB ownership, scenario modeling, procurement oversight, EC management, and inventory optimization across JIT, VMI, and SMI programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline is required.
• 6–8 years of proven experience in Material Planning/Inventory Control.
• NPI and high-mix/low-volume manufacturing experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end material readiness strategy to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Manage CTB ownership and 13-week demand visibility via Kinaxis RapidResponse.
• Monitor PR-to-PO pipeline and resolve bottlenecks affecting lead times and EOL parts.
• Oversee EC implementations and minimize Excess & Obsolete inventory risk.
• Recommend Safety Stock levels and optimize inventory turns with SMI, VMI, and JIT frameworks.
• Foster weekly forecast reviews and daily cross-functional meetings to clear shortages.
• Represent supply chain in weekly customer calls and coordinate logistics for month-end revenue.
