Job summary

NPAworldwide in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a master planner with strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing and MRP systems to oversee the master planning process for key customers on site.

You will develop plans, provide data and recommendations for labour, resources, and equipment decisions, and work closely with ERP/CTB tools like SAP, ERP, MRP to optimize production scheduling and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.
• Good understanding of specific customers' business, organization, products and processes
• Basic understanding of customer needs and demands.
• Good analytical and statistical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• Minimum at least 5 years with relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience within an EMS environment is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of material planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques and manufacturing control systems.
• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Knowledge in SAP, ERP & MRP are an added advantage
