Job summary

Jabil Malaysia Penang is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage all planning activities for the assigned workcell and to mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators. You will ensure 100% on-time delivery, establish build readiness, and maintain accurate revenue forecasting while driving 95% MPS accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in planning or supply chain
• APICS certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRP, lead times, internal run rates, and BOM/routing

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP.
• Lead the Workcell on BOMs and routings for accurate WIP tracking.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain capacity planning model and optimize utilization.
• Meet daily with Workcell and manufacturing teams to adjust schedules and minimize changeovers.
