Job summary

The Chamber in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Senior Marketing & Events Executive to plan and execute in-store events and support day-to-day premium retail operations. Strong events background and brand experience are essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating launches, managing vendors, and leading on-site during events. Expect evenings/weekends and a relocation to Old Klang Road in Sept 2026.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years in event coordination; wedding industry or in-house retail ops exposure is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Familiarity with luxury retail, lifestyle, or F&B industry is a plus.
• Willing to relocate to Old Klang Road in Sept 2026.

• Oversee event logistics, including inventory management, display setup, staffing coordination, and customer flow.
• Work with content and marketing teams on livestream or digital event integration.
• Support Operations Manager in implementing and monitoring store SOPs and daily operations.
• Provide on-site leadership during events and ensure premium brand representation.
• Maintain post-event reporting and insights for continuous improvement.
• Expected to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules; replacement leave provided.

The Chamber is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Marketing & Events Executive to support the planning and execution of in-store events, as well as day-to-day retail operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong events background and a solid understanding of retail operations, particularly within premium or lifestyle brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events, product launches, and brand activations across all outlets.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations) and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
• Oversee event logistics, including inventory management, display setup, staffing coordination, and customer flow.
• Work closely with the content and marketing teams on livestream or digital event integration when required.
• Support the Operations Manager in implementing and monitoring store SOPs, daily operations, and process improvements.
• Provide on-site leadership during events, troubleshoot in real time, and ensure premium brand representation.
• Maintain accurate post-event reporting and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Expected to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules. Replacement leave provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in event coordination; wedding industry, or in-house retail operations exposure is a strong advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, premium retail environment with attention to detail and customer experience
• Familiarity with luxury retail, lifestyle, or F&B industry is an added benefit.
