Job summary

CAPE EMS Berhad, headquartered in Senai, Johor, seeks a Senior Engineer to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery. You will design and implement systems to meet customer standards, support mass production lines, and drive line improvements.

Requirements include a technical degree, 3+ years of experience, strong engineering fundamentals, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proficiency with CAD/SolidWorks/ERP/MES. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

Degree / Higher Education in Technical and Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical knowledge.
Knowledge of manufacturing, production, operation, technique, and capabilities.
Understand quality control principles, inspection methods, and measurement tools.
Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Able to conduct failure and risk analysis.
Proficiency in engineering related software.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
IT literate such as Microsoft Office, ERP, MES system, CAD, and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Support mass production lines (Flexi project) by providing technical support and troubleshooting unforeseen issues in production lines.
Create or revise work instructions upon customer requests.
Initiate ECN for customer-requested changes.
Order spare parts for wear and tear of machine and equipment.
Configure artwork for labels.
Conduct line improvement to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.
Develop and implement temporary rework / sorting flow for short term issues.
Conduct head count analysis that is needed to run production efficiently.
Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
Update BOMs according to production material usage and customer requests.
