• Two- to three-year community college diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication.
• Experience with electronic circuitry testing and debugging.
• Proficiency in CAD and SMT machine programming; familiarity with software like C++.
• Good project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior level technical support for manufacturing engineering initiatives including process, electrical, and development engineering efforts.
• Assists with development and implementation of engineering projects.
• Takes ownership for a process sector under engineering guidance.
• Assists with scheduling and conducting process experiments.
• Participates in equipment reviews and proposals for purchase.
• Assists in setting up new product lines and in tooling requirements.
• Plans and coordinates equipment moves and process improvements.
• Learns to identify and resolve equipment and process issues.
