Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III in Malaysia to own end‑to‑end line realization for capital equipment assemblies. You will plan, design, validate, release, and sustain robust processes while managing CAPEX, line setup, and documentation requirements.

Collaboration with Product Development, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain is essential for manufacturability and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• >=5 years manufacturing engineering experience in capital equipment or complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions (WI).
• Hands‑on with fixtures, tooling, measurement systems, and safety practices.
• Able to work on 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Define, validate, and maintain process definitions, routings, WI, PFMEA, control plans, and testing protocols.
• Lead NPI, ramp‑up, and product realization for high‑volume manufacturing.
• Provide daily technical support and drive CAPA/8D/DMAIC problem solving.
• Plan and execute ECO/MCO updates and documentation releases; ensure cross‑functional approvals.
• Lead CI initiatives to improve throughput, OEE, and cost.
