Job summary

BROOKS AUTOMATION MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an Engineering Specialist to sustain daily manufacturing operations, troubleshoot line issues, and support NPI/transfer activities.

The role spans mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic software domains, and includes calibration, documentation, and training responsibilities. The incumbent will work with MFE to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost, while maintaining strict traceability and adhering to EHS policies.

Qualifications

Diploma/Associate in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in semiconductor capital equipment or high-precision automation manufacturing.
Willingness to work 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide line support and sustaining activities to maintain production throughput.
Assist with NPI/Transfer pilot builds and first articles.
Monitor process capabilities and assist MFE with continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate preventive maintenance on production fixtures/testers and track calibration.
