Job summary

Brooks Automation, Inc. seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for our new greenfield site in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will design, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalable production.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer products from R&D to full-scale production. The role demands a strong foundation in advanced manufacturing, robotics, and automation, plus hands-on problem solving and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in robotics or automation.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment is advantageous.
• Strong skills in SPC, DOE, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead line readiness, setup, installation, and validation of equipment.
• Drive process optimization, lean initiatives, and cycle-time reductions.
• Ensure quality through PQP, GR&R, and SPC.
• Collaborate with R&D, design-for-manufacturability, and NPI activities.
• Support audits and maintain calibration & maintenance programs.
